Welcome to our home!
We are delighted to have you as our guest at our rural retreat, where time slows down, nature surrounds you and thoughtful comforts offer a quiet escape, and a chance to enjoy the simple pleasures of country living.To ensure everyone enjoys a comfortable and relaxing stay, we have some guidelines and information that will help things run smoothly.
Our Philosophy
We are committed to promoting respectful, friendly travel experiences, supporting local communities and minimising negative impacts. Consequently, we welcome guests searching for a little rest, relaxation and an escape from the demands of a busy world.We encourage an appreciation of nature while contributing to its preservation. This is translated into practical housekeeping activities. We have solar panels. We try to conserve electricity and water. Bed linen and towels are no longer changed every day . Laundry is no longer sent out but washed at home and dried in the sunshine. Bed linen is no longer ironed. We are beginning to grow our own food. Time and space is shared, stories are told and connections made over a glass of wine and a plate of good food.
Pets and dogs
Please note that The Studio , main house, terraces, pool area and surrounding gardens are pet – free. Pets are welcome in The Yurt, The Chalet and if travelling with you in a Camper Van. We understand that your pet is an important family member but we ask you to respect other guests by ensuring pets are kept on a leash at all times and that disturbance to birds and wildlife is kept to a minimum. We know that you will clean up after your pet without fail, and dispose of the waste in the appropriate bin. The fields are pet friendly. We trust owners to prevent noise disturbance to other guests.
Parking
Your booking includes on site parking for 1 car. Extra cars can be parked by prior agreement and additional charge if space is available.
On- Site Services:
We are continuously working to develop additional services to compliment your stay and hope to complete a number of projects early in 2026. Currently, we offer: swimming pool , fire pit, laundry service, arrival hamper- please pre-book, shop, games, pre order bread service, star gazing.

The Studio
You’ll find a warm welcome at this tranquil retreat near Marciac Jazz village. The Studio is on the first floor of Bev’s renovated farm house, Les Contes.
The Yurt
Welcome to The Yurt, nestled under a willow tree in the grounds of Les Contes.
The Chalet
The Chalet is a unique and memorable place to stay. It forms a special part of the Les Contes Homestay venture.
Campers Vans
Take a break from the road ! We have 6 spaces for camper vans and 6 spots for small tents in our fields.

Legend has it that D’Artagnan galloped across the fields , anxious to return to his castle in Lupiac, and we invite you to explore, wander and discover the charms of the surrounding landscape.
